Google Tech Gadget

Google is jumping into the mobile tech gadget market with its acquisition of Motorola mobility, in a move to emulate Apple and counter the iPhone's supremacy in the mobile gadget market.
This acquisition lets Google create an end to end experience for the consumer in a way that only Apple has mastered to date. Motorola devices will now be used to offer the best Android experience on the market. Of course, Google already has a large footprint in the smartphone market with almost 1/3 of all smartphones sold worldwide running Android. This compares to almost 19% for Apple's iOS software, and Google currently gives away its Android phone to device manufacturers. This strategy has been very effective in getting the its ads in front of users, but gives Google limited control over device quality and specifications.
